Sue Batchelor has worked in the oil and gas sector for 24 years. Her experience ranges from management consultancy including project management and delivery through to business development, commercial negotiation and sales. Sue’s key strengths are her ability to understand issues from a business perspective as well as her experience in running multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams.Sue is currently Ernst & Young’s Global Oil and Gas Centre Director. Her prime responsibility is advising global account teams on bid strategy and providing oil and gas insights to pursuits. She is also responsible for EY’s global knowledge repositories such as credentials, CVs and other sales collateral. Prior to joining EY, she was an Associate Partner in IBM Global Solutions in their Chemicals and Petroleum practice. There, she was responsible for business development and delivery of consulting services to BP. Before working for IBM, Sue worked as Global Sales Manager for downstream businesses in Oracle’s Energy Organisation and was previously a Senior Manager in Accenture’s Energy consulting practice. Sue worked for BP Oil Europe for seven years during which time her work covered systems development, implementation and operations.
