Responsibilities include delivery of Data Protection services, oversight and co-ordination of information governance, risk management and compliance programs and execution in line with Standard Bank South Africa's Data Protection agenda. This includes enabling local security capabilities to prevent significant reputational, financial or other losses, establish and maintaining control processes and escalation paths to adequately control the processes and functions supported within SA Data Privacy & Protection capability. I drive adoption of minimum security and monitor adherence to governance, risk and compliance standards and in conjunction with First Line, second and third line risk.
