Hi I am a Mother of 3 and have been a successful Childminder. I am passionate about the wellbeing and development of children.From leaving school I gained a BA in Visual Arts and Culture at Salford University, then I worked for Iceland for 14 years progressing from a supervisor to Assistant manager, this is where I learned the importance of good staff morale and excellent customer service.I have been a Childminder for 6 years and I have thoroughly enjoy watching them learn, achieve and above all having fun.I am self motivated and ambitious. I have lots of ideas, creative, inventive and sometimes completely off the wall ridiculous.A group of like minded people from the community and myself have successfully opened a Social Enterprise in the way of a unique soft play children's centre in Urmston, Manchester. Primarily incorporating the learning, development (through the EYFS framework) healthy lifestyles and entertainment of Children. Pop up shops are also available to local businesses to sell their products etc. And much much more. Funding is a little short however with the help and generosity of the local community we have opened the first phase on 20th July 2014.
