Some time ago I gained degrees in Fine Art and Sports Science then went to London to sell advertising space in magazines and ended up in production! As a result I understand how to sell and the value of good design and layout . With design management experience I went into publishing so I understand how powerful editorial and advertising revenue balances. I then 'hopped'​ over into London advertising agency life, graduating from production/creative through to media planning, account management and then directorship. I ended up as Managing Director of an ad agency specialising in leisure & travel in one of the UK's largest privately held companies - Accord Holdings.So I understand running businesses at board level.Throughout my career I've had the pleasure of spending time as a coach, a consultant and a mentor and I think I understand people too. I have studied branding and corporate communications and fortunately have been in a position to apply this knowledge. I also love learning new stuff and although there's more and more new stuff around, what pleases me most is cutting through and finding what new stuff really works - and for who!I think a sense of humour and being able to smile because you love what you do, makes the job of communication a whole lot more effective.Specialties: Clarity, empathy, marketing, media, innovation and creativity.
