Developed and implemented a company training program for a multi store chain which included the office and warehouse staff. Served on the Board of the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association, including serving as Chair. Developed a CD sales training program for sales associates and store managers in conjunction with a multi store chain of stores. Continue to operate a Retail Consulting Business. At Hotaling Imports, a wholesale distributor of quality European toys I worked as sales territory as well as working directly with the CEO of the company to help the entire sales rep force to increase sales. I also worked closely with the European companies. In my current position as Director of Member Relations for the American Specialty Retailing Association, I provide leadership and strategic oversight to help build greater confidence amongst ASTRA membership segments by building stronger cooperation, collaboration opportunities and increasing engagement within the group. I am responsible for partnering with manufacturers, retailers, and sales reps to increase the flow of accurate information and build innovative programs that will result in greater efficiencies and savings for all member segments as well as increase member participation in programming.My goal is to build sales, create excitement and provide valuable resources for and within every organization and individual with whom I come in contact. By using my many years of experience in and passion for retail as well as my deep understanding of the constantly changing retail environment and the importance of true face-to-face connections, I strive to continually improve all the businesses with whom I work to insure their continued success.
