CurrentReceiving (Rail & Road – RM for Iron Making), Storage (RM Yard), Issue (Internal Customer – As per demand), Reconciliation of RM & consumables including HSD & Managing Works Processing Cost of dept.Cost Leadership:Reduction in HSD consumption & extra hiring charges of mobile equipment.Restrict Coke gross to net & engage in fuel rate savings within ABP target level.Robust planning to avoid Rail demurrage for incoming cargo.Review of raw material stock position & stock reconciliation along with the team avoiding unwanted loss.Supplier of Choice:Restrict Coke moisture within ABP target levels.RM Yard Mgt. – Material plan forecasting & storage mapping, RM processing, Stacks tarpaulin covering, ensure no mix-up of material, Resource & housekeeping plan.Monitor & Review departmental performance against KPI.Robust People Practices:Ensure safe environment & drive safety culture around RM Area including outsourcing partners. Identification & find solutions for Risks, Pain Areas & Safety Dilemmas. Implementation of ECAUP - Elimination of Commonly Accepted Unsafe Practices.Reduction in cycle time for incoming vehicles (VIVO) – Vehicle in Vehicle out.Responsible Corporate Citizenship:Nominated as Locational Ethics Counsellor for LSCM including CL’s.Responsible for team building along with learning & development both for dept & outsourced partner. Focus on Downstream / Value addition:Inventory planning & discussion on market situation with RM Sourcing team along with Rail & Road movement of cargo. Railway Siding Operations. Coordination with Coke Ovens & compliance to coal / coke transportation to Coke Ovens.Close coordination with all internal customers to understand the need & expectations. Regular discussion with business partners to clarify expectations & delivery – provide needful guidance to bridge the gap.Innovate & Excel:Drive improvement initiatives – Integrated Improvement Program through Impact center which includes CFT.
