Quit my corporate career to become a full time author. Completed a certification course in Journalism and Creative Writing and thereafter published my debut novel 'Beyond the Passage of Time'.

Was responsible for analysis and reporting of monthly information to the promoters and top management team for strategic calls.

Responsible for achieving and exceeding the expectations and managing the entire gamut of institutional and corporate business activities in Mumbai area, which is responsible for approximately 90% of the entire business of the organization. Spearheaded the institutional business to grow tenfold within a span of 2 years.

As the profit center head, set up the Kolkata center expanding the business footprint to a different state and a new city. Was responsible for its sustained growth, organically. Improved upon the brand equity, minimized cost with respect to revenue maximization, optimized resource and managed the entire branch by recruiting faculty, ensuring student admissions and making it fully functional.

Campus picked by HDFC AMC as a Management Trainee and placed in the client servicing dept., which is at the intersection of marketing, customer service and operations. Initial responsibilities included moderating branch operations from HO, coordinating with Key Channel Partners of HDFC AMC and with Banks for payouts and cash flow. Was the escalation point for investor grievances and transmission cases PAN India. Got three consecutive promotions in the first three years and was selected as a member of MD’s core team for special projects. In that role, worked on critical projects that included but was not limited to introducing online and mobile trading, market intelligence project (in association with Nielsen), creating the process manual for the entire organization, besides handling corporate process training across HDFC AMC branches PAN India. Other tasks included content strategy, essentially for corporate mailers, corporate SMSs and corporate website; vetting SLAs and vendor negotiation.
