Presently working in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer at Tamil Nadu Smart and Advanced Manufacturing Centre (TANSAM) which is a Section-8 company and 100% subsidiary of Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO), Government of Tamil Nadu, and a centre powered by SIEMENS as a Technology partner, I am a technical professional with more than two decades of working experience in project management, business operations and administration especially spearheading as a CoE expert, MSME & Startup evangelist, Industry support cognizant, and a mentor-enabler for advance skills & solutions to support Industry 4.0 and digital transformation objectives. Before joining TANSAM, I was heading a CoE and Innovation Centre at National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra for nearly 3yrs. I have been working for innovative and industry solutions for Engineering, Automotive, Manufacturing and other industries and performed a role of academic integrator to meet industry requirements. In addition, I have delivered projects to eminent organisations like DRDO and other renowned R&D centres alongside delivering industry solutions on design, development, industrial automation, industrial robotics, reverse engineering, simulations and prototyping. Also, I have been associated with stakeholders from Industry, Skilling and Academia ecosystem managing government and non-government projects related to technical domains and executive skilling. Credited with formulating 30+ Industry 4.0 qualification packs for NSQF level 5 and above, for emerging technologies job roles, and, designing and implementing skill development programs and internships on Industry 4.0 for 1lac+ applied engineers, learners, utilizing their technology labs and providing coursework for Diploma, UG and PG programs, I am also an active expert member to multiple sector skill councils, board of studies and academic councils,, participate in national and international sustainable development forums and invited as an advisor to engineering and auto associations and micro clusters for strategic development. With deep interest in bridging the technology gaps and providing tailor made solutions to meet every demand, I have been participating at forums, conclaves, events, seminars as a guest and keynote speaker talking on Industry 4.0 and future possibilities in capacity building in the digital enterprise.
