Immigration and Immigrant Families- My primary concern is bridging the gap between research and advocacy, and ensuring that people with lived experiences have a voice in our work and advocacy. This includes, conducting literature reviews on the impact of immigration policy and enforcement on children in immigrant families, holding and conducting focus groups with immigrant parents and youth, and developing and refining policy recommendations to mitigate the harm of U.S. immigration policies.- Serving as co-lead for the Children Thrive Action Network's research working group
