My main research areas include SDR prototyping of wireless communication systems, 5G-NR, 4G-LTE, 5G Non-Terrestrial Networks(NTN), and 5G Radiation Compliance. My experience at SnT include: -- Proposal writing, understanding technical requirements, technical contribution, plan of action for deliverables, and regular reporting to stakeholders in 10+ projects funded by the ESA, SMC, and SES.-- Implemented of 3GPP Release-17 5G NTN adaptations (Layer-1 and Layer-2) in OpenAirInterface5G for GEO and LEO-based 5G NTN, developed SDR testbed, conducted over-the-satellite tests and analyzed the results.-- Developed methodology for measurement of 5G network coverage (RSRP, RSRQ, SINR) and antenna radiation pattern using UAV and USRP B205mini, conducted field trials, and analyzed the results.-- Implemented 2X2 MIMO OFDM using GNU Radio for applications in Joint Radar and Communication and validated on USRP B210. -- Developed methodology for measurement of 5G EMF radiation, conducted field trials, and compared with 4G EMF radiation, during uplink and downlink traffic.-- Developed and implemented return link for DVB-S2X by tweaking UDP protocol using LabVIEW and C. -- Developed and implemented a PoC for Integrated Access and Backhauling (IAB) via GEO based 5G-NTN.-- Led 9 scientific demonstrations at prestigious international conferences (ICASSP, Globecom, EuCNC, ICSSC, and SPAWC)-- Represented SIGCOM group in 3GPP, ILNAS, and FOSS meetings.-- Coauthored 6 journals, 2 book chapters, and 18 conference papers.

Ph.D. thesis devoted to the development of a Multi-standard SDR platform capable of simultaneously detecting and decoding information sent on overlapping frequency bands from heterogeneous wireless standards. My main achievements include:-- Implemented standard-compliant IEEE-802.11g and IEEE-802.15.4 SDR transceiver in OpenAirInterface5G and validated on USRP B210. -- Implemented Soft-Decision IEEE-802.11g receiver in GNU Radio by integrating OpenAirInterface Viterbi decoder. -- Implemented soft bit maximal ratio combiner receiver for IEEE 802.11g in GNU Radio and validated on USRP B210.-- Developed interference detection and mitigation a method for wide-band OFDM signal suffering from multiple narrow-band interference sources, implemented on GNU Radio, and validated on USRP B210.-- Developed and implemented method for simultaneous reception of Wi-Fi and ZigBee operating on overlapping channels using GNU Radio and validated on USRP B210. -- Authored 1 journal paper, and 3 conference papers and led 2 scientific demonstrations. My main achievements include: -- Indian patent titled “A System for Implementation of Doubly Cognitive Wireless Sensor Networks”.-- Developed and implemented cooperative spectrum sensing in OFDM systems and validated using GNU Radio and USRP-1 SDR.-- Developed and implemented non-contiguous OFDM in GNU Radio for opportunistic transmission in the presence of narrow-band co-channel incumbent users and validated on USRP-1 SDR.
