Posting and recruiting for all job openings including monitoring applications on applicant site and working directly with managers to fill all job positions. Responsible for onboarding, which includes new employee orientations, interviewing, collecting, recording and filing of all required forms and documents. Assist with all other areas in HR including assisting employees with their needs and questions. Attend safety committee meetings, monitor and track all incident reports and workman’s 801 comp claims including faxing and follow up with SAIF, enter all incident reports into the KPA database accident log, complete and file the required OSHA (300) Logs, file and record all incidents and documentation in employees’ medical files, work with Cascade to determine if UA is required after an accident (consult with management), schedule random quarterly drug tests for CDL, monitor and track all required safety training for staff, prepare and disseminate the daily security log. Maintain a working knowledge of and obey all safety regulations, laws, and practices that affect this position, department and/or area. Monitor fire extinguishers and eyewash station inspections. Monitor and track all medical cabinet inventory. Respond to managers and staff concerns that arise. Back up with recruiting and hiring processes, including orientations and interviews. Assist the Human Resources Director with anything needed. I am her back up when she is out of the office.
