Hi, my name is Summer Morrison, and I am a senior at East Carolina University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration for marketing and supply chain management. While pursuing my BSBA, I am also a part of the women's lacrosse team here at East Carolina. Being a student-athlete has taught me many things including teamwork, communication, humility, resilience, and time-management. My rigorous academic and athletic schedule can be tough, but I have mastered how to handle my schedule in a way that has helped me find success in both areas. During my summers off from academics and athletics, I try and keep myself busy. Two summer’s ago, I was able to secure an internship at Motorola Solutions as a part of the inside sales support team. During my time at my internship, I used Excel to organize purchase orders, and all the different customer account numbers. I also had the opportunity to sit in on various customer phone calls and meet ups, to learn what being a sales representative is all about. In the long-term, I aspire to use my marketing and supply chain degree and knowledge to become a part of a supply chain team.
