Schedule and control the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements using SAP. Ensure Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) in SAP is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues if required. Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit. Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions. Manage and monitor status of ordered parts/ material and expedite delivery of items to meet customer requirements. Prepare the shortage report and follow-up material availability schedules with supplier. Inform the production department for shortages and give them the can build status for production planning and better optimization of resources. Demand forecasting of parts requirement and conducting inventory reduction activities. Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy. Handling system vs. physical stock accuracy. Ensure Minimum and Safety stock levels. Monitor and control inventory levels based on analysis of lead time, supplier production and storage capacity. Minimize obsolete stock and ensure business is left with minimum liability. Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy. Create regular statistical reports and distribute complex dashboards/reports.
