Responsible for the Quality Control activities of the organisation while supporting Quality Assurance.Responsibilities/Achievements ● Coordinate with the Suppliers, Project Team, Engineers and Technical Team in getting timely resolution of issues, Concession and First Article Inspection approvals.● Running Material Review Board for handling non-conforming materials, including setting regular meetings, preparing agenda and minutes, raising Non-conformance Reports and Corrective Action Reports, liaising with the Supply Chain and Supplier Quality Team for arranging returns for rework.● Reporting the monthly supplier performance using Power Bi to report the KPI’s such as DIFOT and manufacturing defect trend analysis, compiling various Excel reports and dashboards.● Supervision and management of receipt inspectors, including setting SMART goals, conducting performance appraisals, delegating work and setting inspection priorities.● Quality checks of outgoing Line Replacement Units to ensure they meet customer and military specification.● In-process quality check of Optical components to ensure they meet the quality specifications. Assisting in preparing checklists, forms, procedures and work instructions respecting organisation’s documentation requirement.● Conducting internal and supplier audits as per organisations internal audit schedule.
