Duties and responsibilities include:• Supervise the safety of work to achieve Beyond Zero set by me. Liaise with safety department and Contractor about any lack of safety observed at site and actions required to be taken to ensure safe working environment. Prepare FSI & execution plan.• Supervise project execution in terms of cost, planning, scope, and quality in accordance with contractual conditions and drawings applicable for the project.• Review and approve contractor’s submittals including correspondences, drawings, materials, tests, programme of works, insurances, estimates, method statement, quality and safety plans etc.• Review construction issue drawings, Bill of Quantity and specification of the project and apply precisely into the project. Arrange for modifications and corrections to design details from design department, where needed.• Review and approve interim and final measurements, payment applications, daywork, provisional sums, variation orders, evaluate contractor’s claims (extension of time, new item rates), resolve disputes etc.• Review construction progress and safety on daily, weekly and monthly basis. Submit weekly and monthly report to Client.• Site resource planning and management.• Conduct site progress meeting. Issue meeting notes.• Liaise with design team, Client and other government authorities. • Monitor works closely to avoid reworking on site, abortive works etc.• Oversee sub-contractors and contractor’s personnel.• Issue correspondences and instruction to the contractor within the authority provided.• Monitor quality and safety of works as per contract conditions.

Working as Assistant Resident Engineer from May 2006 to June 2009.My Duties and responsibilities include:• Supervise the safety of work to achieve Target Zero set by me. Duties are responsibilities:• Undertook project management assignment for infrastructure work including roads, services and traffic related works in Metro Project• Ensured coordination with team leaders to provide one cohesive solution within the agreed time frame using a multi-disciplined workforce• Plan, schedule and design traffic diversion and management plans in accordance with sequence of metro construction. • Conduct traffic studies, analyse traffic data, traffic assignment. Prepare presentations of plan and methods for implementing localize traffic management, area traffic management. • Present the presentations and obtain approvals from Client, Delhi Traffic Police, other concerned Government Authorities for area occupation for enhancing metro works.• Once approved, perform the awareness programs to road users through media, news papers, distributing pamphlets during trial runs and once successful execute plans at site during the entire phase of project.• Proof checking of design drawings, Highway Pavement design• Supervise roads and utility works to ensure all the work performed in accordance with the Contract specification, approved QA/QC plans and safety plans. Manage team for proper execution of works to complete within the stipulated time.• Review QA / QC report, check site safety and quality of works on daily basis, attend progress meeting with various stake holders and address key issues that may affect project completion and suggest required actions to them. • Monitor project progress regularly; review progress report and delays, claims, Check monthly payments from the sub-contractors.• Assist QS department for billing and tendering for road, traffic, services and other related works.• Monitored manpower allocation, supervised plans, ensured optimum use of resources, and assessed use against budgets. • Liaise with Delhi Police and Municipal Corporations at all the times in order to ensure that all the approvals are in place.
