Responsible for 24 MGD Wastewater plant with annual budget of $6.5 million; managing, supervising, scheduling, planning, organizing and directing activities with respect to contract operations, including wastewater treatment facilities, collection systems and pump stations, customer service, ancillary administrative and finance activities in accordance with company standards, policies and practices and in compliance with regulations and applicable laws. Accountabilities included: Responsible for all operations and maintenance activities and the overall operation/efficiency in accordance with the contract, regulations and company policies and practices. Develop objectives to meet regulatory requirement efficiencies and productivity via continuous quality improvement and strategic planning. Directly and indirectly inspect and supervise the facilities and operation, maintenance and other staff assigned to the project. Organize operations and maintenance and support activities to maximize efficient use of available staff, equipment and materials. Develop and oversee the annual O&M budget for the project. Control expenditures to meet or exceed value contribution. Accountable for the productivity and efficiency of system operations and achieving state and federal and local environmental regulatory requirements. Responsible for ensuring appropriate health and safety measures are established and carried out in system operation and maintenance. Interact with subordinates, supervisors, other agencies and customers to facilitate smooth system functioning. Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance teams.

Tampa Bay Seawater Desalination Facility

Responsible for Tampa Bay Water’s 25 MGD Seawater Desalination plant with an annual budget of over $6.5 million; managing, supervising, scheduling, planning, organizing and directing activities with respect to contract operations, including water/wastewater treatment facilities, ancillary administrative and finance activities in accordance with company standards, policies and practices and in compliance with regulations and applicable laws.
