I was her in home full time caregiver for 5 years. This is significant because my faith journey started at age 7 when my mom taught me the Lord's prayer. At age 93, two weeks before she died, I was able to hold her hand each night and together we said the Lord's prayer. So what makes me unique, is what makes all humans unique. We are created by God for His glory. One of my favorite authors is Rev. John Piper. In His book, God Is The Gospel, he asks the reader, "Is God's glory in Christ, the foundation of your gladness?"The single most important thing, that gets me out of bed each day and go to work, as an educator or a caregiver, or where ever I go to work, is my relationship to the Trinity: God Almighty, His son Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit.I would like potential employers to know that when I work, I work for the glory of God, Colossians 3.23-24. I show up before I am scheduled to work, I work with integrity and fidelity, joyfully and humbly.
