Provided training for physicians and nurses to improve their ability to stabilize and care for premature and critically ill newborns while awaiting the arrival of the neonatal Transport Team. Served as resource consultant regarding newborn patient care issues for the region. Worked with the other Perinatal Outreach Education Coordinators in the state to identify and address common needs with the ultimate goal of decreasing infant mortality and morbidity in Georgia.
