-Helped students transition academically in and out of incarceration or treatment programs. I worked to preserve any credits these at-risk students earned in their placements to keep them on a trajectory toward graduation. -Transferred the alternative high school’s English curriculum to our district's LMS (Moodle) so that students who had trouble attending school due to anxiety or other health issues could continue with the same curriculum they would be receiving at the brick and mortar school.

Coordinated all distance learning in the Great Falls Public Schools. Managed the operations of the school district's summer online learning program. I grew the program from approximately 50 enrollments in 2009 to more than 500 enrollments and 12 teachers in 2023.Act as a liaison between Home Schools and Private Schools and the GFPS to connect "non-traditional" students to resources the district has to offer them. Manage details within the GFPS Instructional Technology department including planning for and managing the Technology Team (comprised of classroom teachers who receive extra training to assist their colleagues within their buildings), and the Technology Integration Coaches whose full time jobs are to assist, train, and support teachers in finding ways to use instructional technology to best help students meet their learning targets. Assist the curriculum department in matching instructional technology tools and ISTE standards to content area curriculum during the curriculum review and adoption process.

On a contract basis, I built online high school courses in one of three ways:-Transferred curriculum purchased from vendors into our LMS (Moodle Rooms)-Worked in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to build courses with their original content.-Worked independently within my field of expertise and endorsement (English & Social Studies) to build original courses.

Teach multiple sections of original credit courses to students across the state of Montana. Students work at a variety of times throughout the day/night as the program is asynchronous. Teachers in the program all work for Montana public schools, so online class loads are managed outside of the typical teaching duty day. Online teaching for MTDA includes managing the online course environment, correcting written work, giving feedback and maintaining current grades. Communicating with students, parents, and local schools via email and phone to ensure students stay on track and progress through the course. Being on call to answer questions as they come, to provide basic troubleshooting help, and to direct students to the MTDA help desk and other resources when needed.

Assist students from all over Montana and their local support people (para professional and/or teachers) to complete Credit Recovery courses to earn credits in high school core courses they had previously failed.
