Teach multiple sections of original credit courses to students across the state of Montana. Students work at a variety of times throughout the day/night as the program is asynchronous. Online teaching for MTDA includes managing the online course environment, correcting written work, giving feedback and maintaining current grades. Communicating with students, parents, and local schools via email and phone to ensure students stay on track and progress through the course. Being on call to answer questions as they come, to provide basic troubleshooting help, and to direct students to the MTDA help desk and other resources when needed.
Academic Area Coach (English, Social Studies)
Assist students from all over Montana and their local support people (para professional and/or teachers) to complete Credit Recovery courses to earn credits in high school core courses they had previously failed.
