I have over 20 years of experience in content strategy, web content, and content development, and a graduate degree in education from Harvard University with a focus on technology, education, and innovation.I am the volume editor of the fourth edition of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) in Early Childhood Programs Serving Children Birth Through Age Eight, NAEYC's most referred to book. I also oversee the content development of books, periodicals, learning tools, and professional learning experiences in digital, print, and in-person formats on topics such as DAP, play and learning, media and technology, STEM, assessment, social and emotional development, and equity. My mission is to provide thought leadership, strategy, and advocacy for high-quality early learning and development for all children with a focus on translating research for educator and family audiences. I have received multiple awards and recognition for my work, including the OMMA Award, the EXCEL Award, and the Smart Book Award. I am passionate about joyful learning for all young children and creating useful resources for educators and families.
