Current• AP Calculus AB Score Results (2019): 49 students took the exam, 98% passed, 4.24 average score• Developed rigorous lesson plans, activities, worksheets, and projects for math courses • Created rigorous assessments with multiple level content knowledge and different item types that matched the content taught well in an appropriate amount of time• Team leader for course collaboration to create content, yearlong schedule alignment, and data analysis• Maintained positive, safe, and constructive learning environment for teachers and students• Explicitly taught students content, learning strategies, organizational and study skills, calculator skills, and note-taking skills, adjusting for individual student and course level needs• On boarded new teachers with room organization, classroom management techniques, creating a Syllabus, software skills (setting up Canvas, using Aeries, Word with Equation Editor, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.), finding supplies and ordering, and checked in weekly as the school year progressed• Created student led small group projects: o Apply recently learned trigonometry knowledge of solving oblique triangles to find a distance across a quad without directly measuring, and use satellite imagery to estimate accuracy o Find the height of an object on campus using right triangle trigonometry o Use Desmos to draw an original picture using a variety of precalculus graphs. Students had to share the graph, making a new copy each time. Students had to navigate communicating who was working on the most recent draft and what changes were made o Use Google Sheets to set up a flexible calculator (car loan, student loan, monthly budget after college, calculating a large n Riemann sum) with variable input parameters. Students had to figure out how to work on the same spreadsheet at the same time
