"Dress for the job you want," I muttered, pulling on my Stegosaurus costume. Alas, the only people hiring dinosaurs are children's shows and tire shops having a sale.________If you’ve ever purchased Duracell, Energizer, Coleman, Goodyear, or Insignia branded products (to name a few), you’ve seen my work. And I’ll bet you bought it for the packaging and not necessity! ;) Check out my portfolio (linked above).I am a graphic designer focused on branding and packaging and passionate about bringing brands to life and new products to market. I live and breathe the deepest, darkest, nerdiest aspects of graphic design...paper specs, die lines, inks, box structures, and retail strategy. I leverage typography, imagery, and layout to convince consumers why they can only live with this thing I'm tasked with presenting. I love turning an abstract concept into a tangible, sellable thing, even if that fantastical object is a simple product box or marketing catalog. The psychology of color, layout, and copywriting is truly modern-day sorcery, which makes me Gandalf, but without the pesky hobbits or the beard (I'm keeping the hat). I find immense joy in my imagination, creative vision, and adeptness in turning even the most mundane project into something special.________You'll find me dividing my free time at home between three huge passions of mine: cooking and baking, restoring classic cars and motorcycles with my husband, and spoiling our rescue Great Dane (Holly) completely, abjectly rotten. I'm an avid outdoors person and love hiking, wakeboarding, riding off-road, staring into a cozy campfire, and admiring a starry sky.
