Managing Site Engineering, Process & Utility, Reliability & Project Head

• Overall Site Engineering Responsibility for Maintenance & Projects assigned for the site.• Responsible for establishment of Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance & Breakdown Maintenance to support the business functions for the Equipment & facility. Manage, operate, and maintain multiple building and utility systems, including water (purification and treatment), mechanical (AHU’s, Compressed air, exhaust, chilled water, Scrubbers), Electrical (Transformers, HT/LT distribution Panels, UPS System), Process Equipment (Reactors, Centrifuges, Dryers, Mills, Compactors etc.), Instrumentation System (SCADA System, DCS system, Gas distribution system, Critical Process Monitoring system, PID Controllers, Fire Alarm System, Building Management System etc.) Analytical Systems ( HPLC, GC, LCMS, XRD, NMR utility systems, Gas distribution system, Temp & RH control setups for labs).• Attending Global Meets for concurrency of new/exiting TEVA Global Policies understanding & implementation at Site. Attend and Chair meetings where necessary and liaise inter alia with key departmental stakeholders and customers, contractors, consultants, design/project team, university officers and external organizations as required.• Provide a responsive service as required in respect of unplanned or emergency situations requiring technical expertise and advice which may impact on critical operations or service delivery.• Accountability for the procurement and management of engineering and maintenance external consultants, services, and supply chain providers in accordance with the TEVA financial & Procurement regulations• Accountable for the management of the annual Facilities and maintenance revenue budget and strategic maintenance investment program in line with expenditure plans and approved budgets. • Bring new opportunities for Operational Cost saving aspects by implementing new techniques & Engineering assessment.

• Well versed with Plant Operation Management, Project Management, Facility Management & Quality Management with advanced working experience in bulk manufacturing plant. Strong ability for organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices.• Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence. Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements to each function (Manufacturing, Quality, Supply chain, HR, IT, Finance) as well as coordination and communication between functions.• Managing Projects and Large Unit has sharpened as a good mentor to manage a team of Skilled and unskilled manpower. • Heading large team of Maintenance & Project with total manpower of 78 people, including 12 Engineers, 36 Technicians and 30 Skilled & Unskilled labors.• Managing maintenance of large and 24X7 Hours & multiple batch manufacturing plant including 9 Production Blocks, Solvent recovery plant, Hydrogenation plant, 7 R&D labs, 4 QC Labs and admin blocks.• Completion of Project within a short period of time with strong analytical skill and proper material & manpower skill set.• Develops specifications and makes recommendations on CAPEX & OPEX purchases for efficient, cost effective, time saving & smooth Project activity.• Planning, Execution & Observation of Scheduled Preventive Maintenance of all utility & facility Equipments. • Manages maintenance & Project budget including monitoring inventory and expenses by generating MIS.• Preparation & Review and of Quality documents for equipment for Project & Maintenance.• Equipment study for optimum uses and evaluation of energy consumptions to contribute in company growth.• Active participation in management meetings, Audits, Process development and workforce management to develop efficiency at workplace.• Reporting to Sr. V.P. (Operation & Manufacturing) & Directors.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings• Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications by applying knowledge of engineering principles.• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.• Estimate costs and submit bids for engineering, construction, or extraction projects, and prepare contract documents.• Establish and coordinate the maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule, and supply of materials required to maintain machines and equipment in the prescribed condition.• To review and timely updating of statutory documents Related to MIDC, MSEB, MPCB & Industry Insp. Departments.• Involve and carried out informal Safety Inspection.• Preparation of BOQ & Procurements for Mechanical Equipments related to Utility & Plant.

•• Sustains and improves reliability, plant operation, maintenance, and systems documentation.• Manages the plant’s operations, maintenance, projects, and departments including spare parts, inventory, budget, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations.• Implements a wide variety of engineering solutions to increase equipment availability, increase net operating rate, reduce operation losses, and achieve standard and acceptable production rates.• Contact with technical and supervisory personnel to report or resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency, and product quality.• Inspect operating units such as Hot Air Generator, Scrubbers, Condensers, HVAC, Control Panel, Centrifuge, Dryers and Reactor to ensure that all are functioning, and to maintain maximum efficiency.• Preparation of budgets for regular consuming materials during maintenance.• Assign specific maintenance job to the Vendors/Fitters for smooth workflow.
