A 2020 IRMA graduate with a post-graduate diploma degree in rural management. I also hold B.Sc(H) in Economics from Calcutta University.Currently working in the development sector at the intersection of research and social impact measurement, involving program management and M&E,in collaboration with both government departments and social sector organizations, aiming to improve state capacity and public service delivery.I have a strong knack for research, critical analysis, and creative problem solving aimed at impactful policy solutions. I have experience in conducting field research with various organizations and think tanks and have also published a paper with MGNCRE.I enjoy both academic, creative writing and have a strong passion for all things related to policy. I have recently completed my internship with IWMI wherein I broadly worked on the impact evaluation of the Chakhaji model in Samastipur, Bihar. The model was developed by IWMI researchers as a critique of the Bihar Saur Kranti Sinchai Yojana by the Bihar government.I am an avid reader with a deep interest in history, political economy, and technology. My other hobbies include writing, painting, and phillumeny.I aspire to become a public policy and development sector professional in order to bring about a meaningful change. My areas of interest include Development Economics and Evaluation, Innovation policy, Applied Econometrics, Sustainable livelihoods, and CSR. Complex societal problems of the modern world intrigue me and I enjoy bringing structure to these problems using quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques.
