Since 2006, Sue Jones has been directing a nonprofit organization whose mission is to catalyze women to become positive change makers in the world. Over the past decade she has developed an evidence-based curriculum, a methodology, and a theoretical roadmap to bring rehabilitative mind-body practices to female trauma survivors. She has trained, inspired, and lead thousands of women who have taken her method into their work as yoga teachers, social workers, psychologists, advocates, medical providers, teachers, mothersand community leaders. Professional Accomplishments• Research, Design and Development of TIMBo (trauma informed mind body) program. Replication and scale-up in collaboration with domestic and international organizations. Successful cultural relevance refinement of curriculum completed for U.S. prisons, Haiti, Africa and Tehran.• Collaborative research and evaluation of programs confirming outcomes of statistically significant decreases in symptoms of depression, anxiety and PTSD with statistically significant increases in self-compassion and resilience.• Development and design of multi-tiered TIMBo education and training programs for peer educators, mental health professionals, medical professionals and individuals working within clinical settings. CEU certified for RN, LPN, LMHC, LCSW, MFT, LMT, Dietician and Nutritionist. • Distilled and refined methodologies and theories of emotional anatomy development as understood through early psychosocial development and felt as somatic experiencing. Methods applicable for integration in established western models of care including clinical practice, medical practice and peer-to-peer education. • Defined a hierarchy of healing trajectory; observed as the common experience in TIMBo participants and designed tools for facilitating healing trajectory in clinical settings and practices. • Modified program and training materials and methods for cultural adaptability in Haiti, Africa and Tehran.
