As an Adult Services Librarian at Lewis & Clark Library, I have been providing access to information, resources, and library services for my community for over 23 years. I have a Master of Library and Information Science from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from The University of Montana.My core competencies include program planning and execution, grant writing, technology tutoring, art exhibition logistics, research skills, and customer service. I have developed and delivered multiple programs and events that promote literacy, lifelong learning, and civic engagement, such as book clubs, author talks, workshops, and lectures. I have also secured and managed grants to support the library's initiatives and partnerships, such as the National Endowment for the Arts Big Read. Additionally, I have assisted patrons with their technology needs, such as using computers, tablets, smartphones, and e-readers, and coordinated the display and promotion of local artists' works in the library.
