My first foray as a co-founder of a new business, we've launched a fresh approach to career advice and career planning.We want to specifically help two important groups of people:- organisations wanting to retain and engage their people through meaningful career development or to support their employees impacted by change and retrenchment and are looking for a fresh approach to outplacement support. - young people at the start of their career, whether they are trying to decide on what next, after school or university or in a gap year. We use Design Thinking as the framework for our programmes so as an added bonus, while our customers are designing what next for them, they're also learning an innovation methodology. Cool eh?

We also connect ambitious companies with leading international business experts and design practitioners through learning experiences such as our Study Tours and CEO Summits.

Key achievements:Developed 'Our Tomorrow Project' – an internal engagement programme for the sustainability plan, with 1,000+ staff signing on as champions for sustainable business practices in their team.Development of Westpac's sustainability brand campaign launched in June 2009. The advertising campaign immediately hitting New Zealanders top 10 favourite ads, as recorded by Admedia and Westpac’s top performing ad to date.First bank globally to receive Landcare Research's CEMARS certification (Certified Emissions Measurement & Reduction Scheme) for carbon footprint measurement and reduction. Achieved a 21% reduction in carbon emissions in four years.Enhanced and drove Westpac’s proprietary financial literacy programme, Managing Your Money achieving over 63,000 New Zealanders experiencing the programme in four years.Winner NZI Sustainable Business of the Year 2011 & Sustainable 60 Exemplar Large Business in 2012.

Key achievements:Led the brand evolution project in 2006 – Resulting in significant lifts in spontaneous brand awareness and increased brand consideration. Winner of supreme industry award - Advertiser of the Year for 2006/07 brand campaign as well as gold and silver Effie Awards Established a focused ‘starting out’ (18-21yrs) acquisition programme which reversed a decline in customer numbers for that segment and took us from last to first in market.Launched DebitPlus – a market leading product in New Zealand, striking the balance between educating the market and selling the product. The successful campaign led to a significant growth in over 100,000 new to bank customers.Introduced Local Area Marketing - enabling the Retail Bank network to develop marketing initiatives and campaigns relevant to their local market.Reduced staff attrition from >30% to 12% over the following 18months.Achieved one of the highest Staff Engagement’ and People Leader scores for the bank in the annual staff perspective survey. Optimised a $18mil+ budget across retail and business bank activity.

A new partnership between Massey University and Westpac to develop programmes that improve New Zealanders' personal financial knowledge.

Supporting the growth of place based giving for Auckland. Auckland is a super city now but it is not super for everyone.ACF provides convenient and flexible vehicle for people to set up funds. It researches and grants to effective organisations making a difference in Auckland.
