I write articles for a wide variety of notable publications, from enthusiast gaming sources like PC Gamer and Eurogamer to general-interest sites like Variety and Vice. Over the last decade or so, I've written for nearly every notable games outlet. Though I regularly write pieces in a variety of modes - from listicles to short news clips to reviews - I specialize in reported features about the daily struggle of game-makers both large and small.Since 2019, I've also authored a number of commerce guides and listicles (i.e. service pieces) for major publications like Popular Mechanics and USA Today's Reviewed. These often involve interviewing subject matter experts in order to better understand and recommend the ideal products in a certain category. Served as software technical support for the Health Information Management departments for five different hospitals, from Michigan to Washington, D.C. Learned a great deal about the MUMPS programming language in the process.

Atlanta, Ga

Entered and analyzed stock market data for relevant liquidity measures in the weeks following the Panic of 1914, assisted with/copy-edited the writing of relevant academic papers, and generally helped with miscellaneous tasks, like photographing documents or cleaning data. I learned how to better use both STATA and Microsoft Excel in the process.

Atlanta, Ga

I was part of a pilot program that digitized and summarized the contents of certain archival materials at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, as well as other tasks. My duties included photographing these documents, determining their contents/important elements and recording them, and assisting with academic conferences and other events.

Copy-edited documents, wrote internship application instructions for business school students, shelved books, and maintained a database of internship information.

Interviewed randomly-selected customers over the phone in a series of surveys, generally focused on consumer research.
