I serve within the Biden-Harris Administration in the Executive Office of the President. I am an Advisor for Public Engagement under Senior Advisor to the President - Stephen Benjamin. In this role, I cover the Arts & Entertainment, and Sports Portfolio. Most recently I served as the Special Assistant to the Infrastructure Implementation Coordinator - Mitch Landrieu. Prior to the Executive Office of the President, I served as the Executive Assistant and Legislative Aide to Congressman Thomas Suozzi, who represents the great state of New York. I proudly drafted legislation to Award the 369th Regiment “Harlem Hellfighters” a Congressional Gold Medal. That exact bill was signed by President Biden August 2022. When not assisting with legislative matters, I served as the point of contact for the Black Maternal Health Caucus - advocating for access to quality care for those who need it most. I also joined the operations team for Congressman Suozzi's 2022 gubernatorial campaign, a highly competitive race planted on the national radar for midterm elections. Previously, I worked as a congressional liaison serving four Congressional Co-Chairs. Successfully facilitating the 2021 National Prayer Breakfast with current President Joe Biden, and former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, an event that brought out over 20,000 attendees. I graduated from the George Washington University in 2020 with a BS in Sociology and a minor in law and society. After graduation, I assumed the role of Appellate Paralegal for Healthcare Legal Solutions in Washington D.C. I primarily drafted administrative appeals and documentation to health insurers and governmental payers to resolve delayed, denied and underpaid claims. I have completed internships for the US Committee on Homeland Security with the Intelligence and Counterterrorism subcommittee in addition to a position co-clerking for the Cybersecurity and Innovation subcommittee.
