Here’s a snippet from my path:I was fortunate to work on my Ph.D. thesis in Prof. Dr. Kaim’s lab at Goethe University Frankfurt/Germany. As one of the first "Kaimlings" in his group, I explored coordination chemistry, focusing on discovering new compounds that act as catalysts for cleaving water with sunlight to generate hydrogen. Some of those newly synthesized compounds showed potential, validating our process for designing such catalysts. Our work resulted in several publications detailing these findings.
