An engineer with experience across mechanical, systems, automation, electrical, manufacturing and design fields.• Engineer who prefers hand on work in a highly technical industry• Experience in highly automated environments including FMCG and medical devices• Work in highly regulated environment with a quality management system (QMS) and ISO accreditation• Preparation of quality and technical documentation (OQ, IQ, URS, FAT) within GMP and GEP frameworks including engineering drawings and drafting• Research and acquire, commission and integrate new systems, machines and processes• Experience in maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Design for Manufacture, and modification of complex 3 axis machinery and tooling • Consistent use of CAD techniques, mainly focused on Solidworks• Able to manage own projects from concept and feasibility through to completion• Familiar with Validation, Qualification and Verification activities for machines and processes• Work with ELAU, Rockwell and Mitsubishi PLCs as well as Cognex and Omron Vision Systems inc. programming, designing or modifying HMIs. • Fault finding skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic equipment • Undertaking investigations, NCPs, CAPAs, Deviations and Change Controls• Exposure to the whole manufacturing cycle from raw material to warehouse and dispatch• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic engineering design skills• Liaising with customers, suppliers and manufacturers to implement improvements or fix faults• Experienced in project management and continuous improvement utilizing lean manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizens, 5S and Poka-yoke• Exposure to the whole manufacturing cycle from raw material to warehouse and dispatch• Focused on personal development, broadening knowledge and career advancement• Very flexible, dedicated, goal orientated• Highly values a safety conscious workplace
