Arcadia is a tech company fighting the good fight: climate change. They help companies better manage their energy consumption and give people access to clean energy through community solar programs.My focus as Arcadia's first Analytics Engineer was to tackle difficult data modeling projects, teach best practices, and resolve high-impact data anomalies quickly. I frequently refactored inefficient models to reduce runtime and resource usage.

Human API's mission is to put consumers in full control of their health data. Through the health data platform, consumers can connect to over 30,000 sources and share their data seamlessly.I was promoted to the position of Human API's first Analytics Engineer. My responsibilities included recreating and enhancing all views and visualizations from Periscope over to Looker. During this transition, we instilled a one-big-table (OBT) model which reduced query times by 70% and paved the way for self-service reporting.

I delivered technical solutions with scripts, customized data reports, and automated internal tasks using an API. I overhauled data monitoring by reducing delivery time from three hours to just a few seconds time.
