Maintaining both internal and external web applications, designing, developing and maintain Microsoft SQL 2005 Databases.Joining Safenames.Net I was tasked with developing an intranet web application that would allow staff to manage Domain Disputes related to a given client, respondent or domain name.The application was built using ASP.NET/.NET 3.5 technologies with C# used to develop the business logic to tie the application together. I employed the use of a 3rd party component library supplied by Developer Express (DevExpress Grid Suite) as well as Microsoft Ajax and several Web Services (providing domain whois lookup etc).I designed and developed the associated database in Microsoft SQL 2005 and constructed the various stored procedures to provide functionality to the web application I was developing.I also assisted in the development of the larger external website project where I was tasked with integrating the data and features from my intranet application into the live external website.All development was done in Visual Studio 2008 Team Edition, .NET 3.5 Framework, Ajax and use of Developer Express Web Component Library.

I became involved in a large scale project which involved implementing BEA Aqualogic G6 Portal technology into the current Inchcape IS infrastructure. I became actively involved in this project which resulted in my promotion into the role of a .NET Software Developer specializing in BEA Aqualogic Portal Technology.
