Responsibilities:- Providing strategic communications support to Nokia’s 4 different business groups- Development of communications strategy form MNE region based on Nokia global Comms strategy and direction- Attending and representing MNE region at all Nokia global Comms meetings- Managing the PR agency work- Developing and implementing communications plans for Nokia’s participation in leading regional exhibitions and conferences – GITEX, World Mobile Congress Barcelona, Iran Telecommunications Exhibition, Pakistan Mobile Exhibition.Achievements:- Created and led strategic meetings for Nokia thought leaders with government officials to counter the grey market issues - Organized a Nokia ACF/Grey-market workshop for government officials, Customs officials and high representatives from Ministries of Economy and trade in Nokia HQ in Espoo- Creating and leading Nokia CSR programs – ‘Phonetography’, Pakistan Kashmir relief efforts.- Management of 3.0M euros communications budget.

Based in Dubai, I was mainly responsible for assisting in the setting up of the company in Dubai and getting new business and clients in the UAE. I was also very much involved in building up the internal structure and recruitment and employee training.
