- Created and completed my own research question and presented a final presentation while working with graduate and faculty advisors- Learned from my graduate advisor on how to do field work and how to create and develop a research question within environmental engineering- Participated in a 12 day scientific rafting trip from the Upper Colorado River in Glenwood Canyon, to near Canyonlands, Utah

- Managed the front desk to ensure there were no thefts or emergencies- Patrolled the library to ensure that the rules and regulations of the library were being followed- Managed the general public and dealt with uncomfortable situations, like asking someone to leave after doing something unsafe or reprimanding those who have broken the rules and caused harm
