After the sale of Lincoln Park Plaza, I was asked to take over the management of three buildings in the Gold Coast equalling around 425 units.

I help manage a building that is mixed use. There are 160 Section 8 units for which I assist in the re-certification and management of HUD issues. I have been certified by NCHM as a Certified Occupancy Specialist. I also am the main contact for our 104 market units, handling every aspect of their time with us from the initial showing through the leasing and application process and move in through the day to day customer service and work orders.

I recently got the official promotion to the job that I have essentially had for the past six years. In the process I have doubled the number of units I manage. I am on the go to person for almost all aspects of keeping the current residents safe and comfortable. I am also the one who handles those who are not happy with their current service. Together it combines to a very rewarding if challenging day to day experience.
