Tamara is licensed to practice law in Illinois and is admitted before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.A graduate of The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, Tamara has over 20 years of intellectual property experience from her work in various capacities with her current and former firms.Tamara’s practice focuses on Intellectual Property prosecution in the area of trademarks and related matters, such as, licensing, domain names and unfair competition. Her primary work consists of assisting clients in all trademark proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, including trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, as well as oppositions and cancellations. In addition, she implements and manages all aspects of international trademark prosecution, including developing and maintaining trademark portfolios for multinational corporations and midsize companies and assisting her client’s in implementing international filing strategies. Tamara has gained invaluable experience in the IP field in capacities ranging from administrative assistant to licensed attorney. This experience has placed her in a unique position to assist her clients with all aspects of United States and international trademark law from basic administrative matters to complex trademark matters. Beyond her experience as Trademark Attorney, Tamara has experience in training and managing administrative assistants, paralegals, and associates.
