I've spent the last 24 years handling personal injury protection (PIP) claims under Michigan's unique No-Fault system, and I'm looking forward to seeing the changes ahead as a result of recent legislative reforms. Being responsible for a large number of claims with litigation keeps me engaged, and the investigative piece of my job is what I really enjoy. Finding new ways to look at old problems excites and energizes me, I love the challenge. My job requires effective time management skills, and I am recognized as a leader in this area with production numbers that are consistently 10% over the average for my peers. Building relationships with my customers is critical to a great claims experience, and I am proud of my ability to meet people where they are and help them through the claims process. My office closed on August 30, 2019 and I have been working in Medical Billing and Denials for close to a year now for Trinity Health. I am open to offers within the insurance and Medical industry, though I am also casting my net wide for new opportunities. My interests lie in insurance, legal offices, county offices, public service, investigation, and technology. In my off hours, I am learning about horses and their care. My daughter is an accomplished equestrian and I have purchased a horse for her and have had many learning experiences since I took on that responsibility. I also enjoy traveling to historical destinations, volunteering, gardening, the soccer, and sustainable living. I enjoy getting out in my community and meeting other like-minded people.
