IACC HoldingsTransmar Accounting Manager RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure. Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close. Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information. Assist the Controller in the daily banking requirements. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions. Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner. Supports budget and forecasting activities. Collaborates with the other department managers to support overall department goals and objectives. Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources whilemaintaining a high level of accuracy. Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions. Responds to inquiries from the Director of Finance, Controller, and other finance and firm wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like. Monitoring and control A/P and agencies. Monitoring and control A/R.  Work with the Controller to ensure a clean and timely year end audit. Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department. Provide training to new and existing staff as needed. Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc. Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advice on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff. Support Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements.

Responsible for:• Follow-up of daily work flow including (Payments / Collection / Credit Control)• Follow-up of registration of day-to-day accounting transactions & full documentation cycle & Maintaining the G/L accounts.• Managing Cash flow thru daily cash status report & approving the monthly banks reconciliation statements.• Monthly review of the financial documentation cycle to operate the company as well as all the financial forms needed.• Planning, reviewing monthly Trial Balance and preparing monthly & end year financial statements (B/S, P&L, C/F, O/E)• Planning and reviewing monthly operating profit reports.• Ensuring that all accounting controls comply with company policies and procedures and international accounting standards.• Planning and preparing monthly payroll sheet.• Co-ordinating all issues with external auditors.• Following up taxation matters (Shareholdings / Salary Tax / Sales Tax / Withholding Tax) and relationship with governmental authorities. • Supervising our accounting system (Dolphin) as a superuser

Responsible for:• Preparing estimated cost of stevedoring for vessels calling on Egyptian ports, to present to company’s customers “receivers”.• Revising invoices presented from stevedoring agents reflecting actual cost of discharge/loading operations.• Calculating, negotiating, & preparing final invoices to customers relating their cargo either containerized, free on deck, in bulks, in cisterns, or in any other way of shipping. • Controling and following the balances for our clients• Controling and following all the expenses and revenues releated to my department .• Contributing and ensuring to quality standards, committed to quality of output and service provided, adherence to company quality system.

• Analyses and reconciling jobs quarterly• Manage and controlling all claims(Finance wise) related to GAC • Reply and clarify for all inquiries which were received from the principal . With all supporting documents • Reconciling and confirming debet/credit balances to the principal (Line) • Manage and confirming all revenue and expenses to get the net operating revenues.

- (2004-2005)• Controling garantees for the contractors Banks L/Gs, Bank drafts, etc....• Controlling all revenue and expenses that related to Imp& Exp shipments• Controlling all payment requests related to all Port authorities and terminals and customers settlements

• Issuing both liner import & export invoices. • Preparing the storage sheets that incurred on the local export vessels. • Following up with the clients that have credit agreement with us. • Preparing settlements to our clients. • Reconciling the WFR (weekly fund statement) before remitting the freights to the principal in order to ensure collection firstly.
