As well as supervising our Occupational Medicine department that works both in our community and our internal community I have taken on the responsibility of supervising our Employee Health Department. My new tasks include focusing on our employees injuries and illness', bodily fluid exposures as well as exposures to all other contagions, respiratory compliance, CMS, TJC, and OSHA compliance. Focusing on growth potential to assist with acute illness and injury as well as taking ideas from all staff and leadership to determine the possibilities of other services such as wellness classes and stress management.

Salem Health

Coordinates business, marketing & outreach, education, and customer service support for all Occupational Health programs in the design, development, operation, electronic collection and reporting of patient and program information. Coordinates support of patient and staff scheduling as directed. Prepares routine and customized reports. Coordinates the customization, application and operation of software used in the department. Develops training modules and trains new users. Monitors for quality and accuracy of data, billing and documentation. Provides oversight of all business support operations in the department and assists in preparing performance reviews for rehabilitation services business support staff. Assists in the coordination of the clinical integration of business processes to promote Occupational Health services to customers within the Salem and surrounding area as well as Salem Health's internal community.
