I love working with technology in a myriad of different ways. My education and experience have provided me with a diverse background, leading me down the avenues of the creative use of technology, as well as the analytical side. I have rounded out my diverse capabilities with years of experience in IT support.One of my most notable projects was the comprehensive design work for "The 406 Table," a project that encompassed not only crafting a visually striking book cover but also meticulously designing its interior layout and collaborating with the author to refine the content. The book's impact was significant, earning features in local news outlets and one of Montana's premier publications, Rural Montana Magazine. Furthermore, I extended my support by creating a distinctive logo and website for the author, facilitating online promotion & sales of her work. This initial collaboration laid the foundation for an ongoing partnership, as I have since provided design, layout, and editing services for 4 additional books by the same author, further showcasing my dedication to excellence and long-term client relationships.For over 20 years, I've operated a computer service and repair business. During the late 90s, I built and upgraded computers, alongside providing hardware/software fixes. Since then, I've been instrumental in resolving both software and hardware issues in computers, delighting numerous satisfied customers.While pursuing my bachelors degree at MT Tech, I worked as a data analyst in the Petroleum Engineering Department. I enjoyed being a key member on the team, with the responsibility to develop a MS Access database to handle oil well data. I developed strong MS Excel skills as I enabled the database to update the spreadsheets, through macros. Graphical representations of the data were generated via the spreadsheets. We applied mathematical reasoning to understand oil production trends and make real-world connections with the data. Our insights were given to future industry researchers. In my thirst for knowledge, I looked for new ways to strengthen my abilities and better serve my clients. In 2016, I obtained my bachelor’s degree from MT Tech in Business Information Technology. This gave me a strong foundation in today’s technological business environment.Later, chose to complete my master’s at American Sentinel University in Business Intelligence and Analytics. Through furthering my education in this manner, I gained greater insight into how to leverage technology for improved businesses performance.
