Flipkart Externship Experience:Overview:My externship at Flipkart was a transformative experience that provided me with deep insights into e-commerce operations and strategic project management. The externship experience has given me the opportunity to learn and unlearn many things, to balance between work and life, and explored many concepts in depth regarding Excels. I have also had hands-on experience in Operational part of the Flipkart warehouse and contributing for the overall growth. Working under the Food & Nutrition and Healthcare super-categories, I was exposed to a dynamic work environment that emphasized innovation, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:Food & Nutrition: I collaborated on the HyperLocal Project, focusing on market research, competitive analysis, and product selection. I drafted city-wise pricing for top SKUs and managed vendor onboarding, contracts, purchase orders, FSN case sizes, and Minimum Order Quantities (MoQs).Healthcare: I handled warehouse operations, scheduled FSN consignments, tracked order quantities, and resolved pricing and licensing issues. I also optimized warehouse space allocation and monitored brand progress, achieving significant improvements in product movement.Quality of Work:This externship honed my analytical, organizational, and communication skills. I learned to navigate complex projects, manage multiple stakeholders, and deliver tangible results. My contributions led to an 84.37% overall progress in brand movement within the Healthcare category, with standout achievements such as a 28.31% progression for 'VedapureNaturals.'
