I work to drive cultural and structural changes within U.S. higher education, specifically focused on broadening participation in STEM. With over ten years of experience managing and advancing education initiatives, my expertise lies in administering educational programs dedicated to supporting students from historically excluded backgrounds in STEM fields. At the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), I am proud to coordinate the National Science Foundation funded S-STEM Resource & Evaluation Center (REC). My S-STEM REC team's efforts aim to increase the number of talented low-income students who achieve post-secondary degrees and enter the STEM workforce.
