I represented children in infant approval hearings in the County Courts on the Northern Circuit, and also financial institutions in mortgage applications and possession hearings, application to suspend warrants, setting aside default judgments, return of goods, and applications for costs.

I provided one-to-one support to Mr Browne QC, a leading clinical negligence, PI and costs QC. I assisted him with his practice of claimant and defendant work by drafting pleadings, opinions and schedules, carrying out legal research, reviewing case files, preparing chronologies, attending conferences, Joint Settlement Meetings and trials, and carrying out administrative duties.

I worked with a team responsible for quality assuring the selection process for judicial posts from DDJs to Recorders to High Court Judges. I liaised with judges and JAC commissioners regularly. I observed candidate interviews and provided real-time training in unconscious bias.

I conducted research into BSB regulations and assisted with Catastrophic Personal Injury matters. I wrote policies and procedures for the limited company. I drafted submissions to the BSB, research notes, case summaries, attended conferences and took notes.

I supported the Chief Executive with human resources policy development, restructures, redundancy and other staffing matters. I also wrote a new employee handbook and procedures, and developed a staff intranet site.

I managed the delivery of the MBBS professionalism modules, and led on policy and procedure development and implementation on a large change management programme to implement a new medical curriculum in response to new GMC regulation and changes to healthcare brought about by the Health and Social Care Act 2012.

I took time out of healthcare, travelled and I worked in ski resorts and adventure sports. I set up and ran an adventure sports information and bookings centre before overseeing its merger with Global Gossip Australia.
