A PhD project researching toroidal electrodynamics within metamaterials and in free-space. I utilise microwave-regime experimental characterisation and finite-element simulation of metamaterial structures to observe unique light-matter interactions.

I co-managed the music practice, storage and performance spaces at the University's Kay House building. This included booking and renting of rooms, and management of a team responsible for setting up spaces for rehearsals, concerts and exams.

This 4-week research scholarship involved the production and characterisation of graphene-based field-effect transistors (FETs) for use in gas-sensing applications.

This 10-week research project was concerned with observing non-linear effects in optical fibers, particularly supercontinuum generation, as precursor to constructing a system for stimulated Raman spectroscopy.
