I’m someone who believes in the power of community, advocacy, and action. Throughout my journey, I’ve sought to make a positive difference in the lives of others, whether by promoting mental health, protecting children, or advocating for climate action. For me, each step in this journey represents a commitment to the values I hold close: empathy, service, and a deep sense of responsibility toward building a better world.As an Associate Trainer with ActionAid Bangladesh, I’ve had the chance to work with incredible young people who are passionate about climate change and social justice. I help design and lead training programs focused on leadership development and youth empowerment, giving them the tools they need to become changemakers. Watching these young leaders grow and use their voices to fight for a sustainable future has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.With my psychology background, I’ve always been drawn to the importance of mental health. As the Health Secretary at VSO, I lead mental health initiatives that target underserved communities, particularly those in rural areas. I partner with healthcare professionals to provide access to mental health services, raise awareness, and reduce stigma. I believe that mental health is foundational to overall well-being, and I’m passionate about ensuring everyone has the support they need.In addition to mental health, I’m also deeply committed to child protection. I’ve worked on projects that advocate for children’s rights and promote safe environments where children can thrive. Every child deserves protection and care, and I work to ensure their well-being is prioritized in every community I engage with.When I’m not working, I love to travel and explore new cultures. Traveling has taught me the importance of different perspectives and how interconnected our global challenges really are. It keeps me curious and always eager to learn more, helping me grow as a person and as a professional.At the heart of it all, I see myself as a lifelong learner and an advocate for those whose voices aren’t always heard. Whether it’s through climate activism, mental health work, or empowering the next generation of leaders, I am dedicated to creating positive, lasting change.
