I'm currently a PhD candidate researching how countries in the Global South respond to asylum-seekers and refugees. I'm interested in global governance, international regimes, institutional change, norm diffusion.

As an IGCC Fellow, I carried out 12 months of fieldwork in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand

I am a full-time lecturer of political science at North South University (currently on leave). I've designed and taught courses in comparative politics, public administration and international relations. In addition, I was the Deputy Project Manager for the new Executive Master's in Policy & Governanceprogram in the MPPG Department (Department of Public Policy & Governance). These courses cover fundamentals as well as contemporary topics in political science and public administration.
