6+ months as a CNA at Homestead of Augusta, giving in-home resident care to over 18 residents. Working in a nursing home comes with many rewarding and learning opportunities. As a CNA, you not only have to learn how to be a fast thinker in high-stress situations, but you also have to have the ability to work long and flexible hours on your feet most of if not all day. I have incredible customer service skills and working with angry/irate customers is not a problem. I work really well in fast paced environments and I am a fast learner, so training will be a breeze.
