Hello, I'm Taylor Chambers, a Junior at the University of Arizona Majoring in Business Management/Operations Management at the Eller School of Management. I'm from Illinois 45 minutes north of Chicago, I chose Arizona because I'm very dedicated to my studies and this school is known for exceptional education. I chose my major since I’ve always liked being creative and being in control of any given situation. I became interested in Business due to my family. My father owns his own business and I admired how motivated and dedicated he is to his company. I became aware of my dedication, leadership, and communication skills At my first job starbucks. It was peak, which is the busiest time of day. My shift manager had an emergency and needed to step away. I was put in charge of the employees working and was told to assign positions to them, I was able to fulfill the needs and do what was asked of me. As I continue In the future I want to be the most independent ,dedicated, and commutative employee and boss I can be as that makes all the difference. Im able to thrive in collaborative environments as in high school I was in four clubs that required critical thought and process: Student Council, Best Buddies, Peer Helpers, and Dance club all requiring a different amount of process and detail as each individual would need to come up with a problem and a way to solve that solution which has taught me the business skills of leadership, collaboration, creativity, and compassion that I have developed today.Interest: Dancing, Reading, Painting, Hiking, and Traveling
