Primarily performs quantification and measurement of tissues required in grossing SOPs in CLIA certified laboratory and secondarily assists in other areas of the laboratory as needed.•Proficient in data entry accessioning which requires quality control of requisitions, patient information, and specimens for compliance with HIPAA regulations.•Performs measurements and quantification of tissues related to gastroenterology, dermatology, urology, and gynecology and dissects tissue as necessary. Performs processing on various tissues received from autopsy procedures.•Processes grossed tissues as the tissue requires, as well as, maintenance, programming, and troubleshooting of Tissue-Tek VIP processing machine.•Embeds all tissues in paraffin wax blocks as necessary after processing.•Performs H&E, ABPAS, Giemsa, and monolayer stains regularly.
